Properties of the 'Art of Noise'

  • The defined container has properties equal to that of rechargeable batteries.
  • In this instance, said container will be known as 'a child'.
  • The recharging stage occurs when the child is not exerting energy to create sound. We will call this state 'sleep'.
  • In the best circumstances, multiple childs (children) will enter sleep at the same times, however this usually only occurs once in a 24 hour period. All other sleep states will be at opposite times of each other due to the maintaning of a set level of noise output throughout the household. This noise level cannot be governed.
  • Any attemtps to govern the level will usually result in an overdrive of the level, causing distortion and heightened blood pressure.
  • When children are all in the awake state (exerting noise), the total level will be a sum of all children and usually will be an average (again, set by the child units).
  • However, when one or more of the children have entered the sleep state and it is not in the single occurence of all children being in the sleep state, all children that are awake will up the output of noise to maintain the set level of noise output for the house.
  • You'll see the phenomenon when you are trying to put one child to sleep and the other child suddenly (and near exponentially) begins outputting higher levels of noise.
  • Luckily, the raised output will lower once the awake child has successfully blocked the attempts of the other child to enter the sleep state and the average noise level is restored again with equal input by all child units.
