I'm a huge fan of Super, a front end for a set of rather powerful command line encoders. This morning while converting a series to my iPod, I stopped as I noticed 'ERightSoft' floating in the center of my newly converted video.

How to remove that?

I performed the following:

  • Started Super
  • Select the Apple - Ipod settings
  • Right Click (Menu) and Export Settings
  • Save the settings as Ipod
  • Browsed to the Super install directory and opened the Profiles directory
  • Opened Ipod.spf in my favorite text editor (SciTE)
  • Made the following changes: DSlogo=0 & DSlogoMessg=
  • Saved the file
  • Opened my files
  • Right Click (Menu) and Import Settings
  • Selected Ipod
  • Converted without the logo.

Unsure (and uncaring) if there is an easier solution that isn't as obvious, but this one proved pretty handy.
